CONVOY FOR A CURE

Who is Cindy Stowe?

Cindy is an over-the-road truck driver hauling a reefer for FFE Transportation for the past 16 years. She runs a dedicated LTL route from Dallas, TX to South-Central Florida bi-weekly. In her career with FFE, she has been both an owner-operator & a company driver. Currently driving a company truck with her two poodles, Candy & Duke.

Cindy & her husband, Floyd, reside in Wills Point, TX (just east of Dallas). They have 4 children & 7 grandchildren. When not driving her big rig, she enjoys quilting & charity work. As well as forming Convoy for a Cure - USA, she also founded Driving for the Cures & is the Texas Ambassador to the “World’s Largest Truck Convoy”. She is also a Life member of OOIDA.

What is 'Convoy For A Cure'?

Convoy for a Cure - USA is the American version of Convoy for a Cure. CFAC was founded by Rachele Champagne in 2008 and had the 1st all-female convoy in Canada on Oct. 18. Her thought of having an all female convoy to celebrate women truck drivers and raise awareness and money for research and education of Breast Cancer became a big hit across the North American Continent. What started out with one convoy in 2008, raising $15,000, saw three convoys in Canada and one in the United States in 2009, raising just short of $100,000. 2010 will see an addition of two more convoys in Canada, bringing a total of six convoys to participate in.

Come join us for a great time and a worthy cause!
